On Monday, December 5, 2016, Har-Bur Middle School students engaged in the Hour-of-Code event -- a world-wide initiative to emerge students into the basics of computer programming.

With Computer Science being one of the fastest growing fields, current Lewis Mills computer science teacher, Mr. Darcy, brought his current computer science students to the middle school for a day of coding.  The 8th graders worked on a variety of computer programming topics and scenario's that promote creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and perseverance.
