The school administration, staff, and students welcome you to Har-Bur Middle School -- a learning community for approximately 650 students in Grades 5-8 from the towns of Harwinton and Burlington. 

Our Mission:

Har-Bur Middle School, together with parents/guardians and the two communities we serve, seeks to actively engage students in the pursuit of academic excellence during the transition from childhood to adolescence. Using a relevant curriculum and varied instructional, techniques, we foster, the cultural, emotional, intellectual, and physical potential of every student so that each --through effort and hard work -- will achieve the skills necessary for success in the 21^st century.
