Welcome to Har-Bur Fifth Grade Resource Services!

Hi! My name is Rose Dobis and I am one of the special education teachers who work with fifth-grade students. I have been teaching in Region 10 for 19 years, both at Lake Garda School and at Har-Bur Middle School.

Students can meet the challenges of Grade 5 through the support of Special Services. Each special education student has an Individual Education Plan with goals specific to his or her needs. Students receive classroom support, or direct instruction as needed. Students may also receive Reading Intervention, Counseling, Language Therapy, or Occupational Therapy. The Student Support Center is available for students with social-emotional or behavioral needs.

I am enjoying working with your children this year as we experience new curriculum in both Language Arts and Math as well as a new teaming approach. It is an exciting time in the field of education, and working together we can make this a very successful year for your child.
