My name is Christina Janssen and this is my seventh year teaching at Har-Bur Middle school. I started teaching in 2008 at Lake Garda Elementary School where I spent three years teaching fourth grade. I then moved up to Har-Bur and taught fifth grade for six years. This will be my first year teaching sixth grade reading on the Garnet Team.

I attended Southern Connecticut State University where I received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. I recently completed my Masters Degree at Central Connecticut State University in Educational Technology. I live in Granby with my husband Ryan and my two sons. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, gardening, and being outside!
