Greetings. This is my 10th year at Har-Bur Middle School but not Region 10. I spent 8 years at Lewis Mills High School teaching World Literature, Film, Advanced Composition, Creative Writing, and Global 10. I am excited to be at Har-Bur. I live in Harwinton with my husband, our daughter (who is a senior at the University of Charleston, WV), and 2 rescue labs: Butterbean and Rebel. I'm not native to the Constitution State; I moved here from the Bluegrass State (Kentucky) in 1986 when I married Dan. I love to read, cook, travel, garden, can jams, jellies, and vegetables, play golf, and relax in my pool or hot tub. My favorite shoes are my cowboy boots. I look forward to teaching you. We will be reading many different books this year, and I hope you will find some that you enjoy.
