Hello My Name Is...
Mrs. Nancy Kutz
I’ve been teaching 5th grade for 18 years, all in Region 10, and simply love the age group! This year, I am extra fortunate to be partner-teaching with the multi-talented Mrs. O’Connor, who handles our two classes’ Language Arts and Social Studies curriculum, while I get to indulge in my favorites of Math and Science.
I grew up in CT and come from a family of educators – mom, a music teacher (still singing and giving piano lessons at 92!); brother #1, a retired high school history teacher; and brother #2 was a college financial advisor. I also have various extended members who work in the field as well! I received both my under-graduate degree and my Master’s in Elementary Education from Westfield State.
At home, I enjoy relaxing with my husband, our 2 grown sons and their wives, a very spoiled Golden Retriever, and in my spare time, enjoy baking, boating, and snowmobiling.
